Speaking Emphasis Workshop: Designing and Teaching Speaking Emphasis Courses

This Zoom workshop is intended for faculty who are teaching or planning to teach Speaking Emphasis (SE) Courses. It will be held on Thursday, October 26 from 12:00 to 1:30PM. The workshop will discuss the following topics:

Identifying discipline-specific speaking skills
Designing SE course assignments and rubrics
Incorporating speaking instruction into your course
