The TLC welcomes applications for the Faculty Associate for Teaching and Learning.

• Three-year term, July 1 2026-June 30, 2029
• 3 credit AWA per semester, while contributing 5-7 hours of work per week

• Submit statement of interest with CV no longer than 2 pages outlining relevant experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Working closely with TLC Staff on faculty development programming, with a focus on enhancing TLC resources and programming around the development of meaningful assignments and course activities that assess foundational knowledge, skills, and attributes that will help students thrive in an AI enabled world (with or without AI assistance).
• Developing a core project centered on the above, drawing on own interests and strengths, such as a workshop, event, evidence-based study, or cohort-based initiative.
• Providing faculty perspective, feedback and insights to the TLC on programming and services, while contributing to other initiatives, such as the TLC Teaching Hub, Faculty Success Fellowship, Teaching Circles, and/or Faculty Learning Communities.
• Participating in planning TLC events such as Faculty Fusion and the Celebration of Teaching.
• Collaborating with other instructors or groups on campus with a stake in faculty development when opportunities arise.
• Being available for consultations with faculty peers seeking guidance or feedback on teaching challenges.
• Attending staff TLC staff meetings and one-on-one meetings with the Executive Director of the TLC every two weeks.
